For a change, a site we didn’t design. Instead we were supplied mock-ups and a basic design brief from the Liverpool design agency Black & Ginger, which we then turned into a living, breathing, news website using our WordPress skills to help make a dynamic site easy to manage even for relatively untrained staff. When we were approached by Informa Telecoms & Media, part of the FTSE 250 listed Informa corporation with an expression of interest in using WordPress for their entire site we weren’t sure what to expect.  A lot of companies ask us about using the platform for blogging, but although we’d done the groundwork for using WordPress as a news platform interest was still quite low until late 2008.
