Role 1: WordPress Developer Internship
WordPress is the exciting web content platform of the moment, and Interconnect IT are the UK’s largest WordPress only specialists. We have an impressive client list ranging from the US State Department through to family businesses.
You’re expected to come in with some WordPress knowledge as well as PHP development skills that you’ve picked during your university or college computer science course. Alternatively, you’re enthusiastic about getting into the field and self-taught in PHP web development to a reasonable level and you may not wish or even be able to afford to go to university but know that if you can prove yourself, you’ll have a career.
If you have a good knowledge of business administration, XHTML and CSS then all the better.
You’ll learn how it is to work in a WordPress consultancy, how to support WordPress sites, use of ticketing systems and so on. You’ll also be taught how to develop themes and plugins for WordPress.
The internship will start within the next month and last for a period of three months and it can be a part time position if you haven’t finished your course. If you’re as great as we expect you to be, there’s a very high chance of there being a permanent job for you at the end of it.
Oh, and the good news? You’ll get paid!
Good luck in your application – we look forward to hearing from you. Apply below.
